During the latter part of 2020 and the first part of 2021 my IBS worsened, to the point that in the middle of April I was rushed into hospital, where I had a Stoma Bag fitted. During this period I lost most of my enthusiasm for my art. However, I still managed to keep going with the Sedbergh Art Society's Wed Art Group, with the exception a couple of weeks either side of my operation. During this period most of my paintings came from photos I taken round the Dales in 2019/ 2020 and a couple I found on the internet. I did managed to pop four paintings in the SAS's late summer exhibition, one of which I sold. I have now almost got ten to twelve WC paintings ready for an exhibition at Farfield Mill in Jan 2023.
