The early part of this year has been working on a few paintings for the Kendal Art Society and Sedbergh Art Society's summer exhibitions. The Kendal one has now passed and unfortunately I didn't sell any of my three paintings, hopefully I'll be a wee bit more successful in the Sedbergh exhibition at the end August.
Most of my time, however, has been taken up merging logs books and writing up the account of our 1970 Speleological Expedition to the Himalayas, which we did going over land in the Double Deck Bus. For this I have been making sketches of our time in India from some now very old slides. This became an epic adventure and should really have been called "The Fellowship of the Bus"
I've also opened another sketch book Tab on my Web Page for storing my Indian sketches which will be on going, as the sketches are retrospective taken for old slides.
