My first Website, and an attempt to keep a regular blog going, summarising my art work each month. That's the plan anyway!
The weather at the start of February was appalling; not conducive to photographing the landscape or outdoor sketching, so in the main, I have been working from old photographs and completed sketches. I’m a member of both Kendal and Sedbergh Art Societies. I go to the Wednesday Art Group run by Sedbergh Art Society as often as I can and at these sessions members bring in work to finish or work in their sketchbooks on all manner of subjects. By the end of February there were some decent bright frosty mornings so I could take some images to work up as quick watercolour/pen & ink sketches. Any of these might be the subject of my next watercolour painting.
