From July 2019 to July 2020 was taken up by writing and publishing our book "The Himalayan Double-Decker Caving Adventure" the story of The British Speleological Expedition to the Himalayas 1970" where I and ten northwest lads traveled overland through Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India to find new caves in the Himalayas. Unfortunately in August of 2018 I suffered an heart attack from which I have now fully recovered.
In my recent work I have gone back to a experimented with a limited pallet and pen and wash. It's now time to concentrate on the landscape in and around the west side of the Yorkshire Dales. Souther Scales in Chapel-le-Dale painted in early Feb 2020 from a photo taken a couple of years ago.
