February started well with a ten WC painting Exhibition at Farfield Mill in Sedbergh, however the week after the paintings were hung the Mill was closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and there they still hang until the Mill opens again. During this period I and my partner are self isolating until we get the all clear from the Government, which may be quite some time. However, we live on a small holding with 3.5 acres and access to local footpaths, which gives us some excellent views of the Hills and Dales around Ingleton and Ingleborough. With the help of a tele-photo lens some interesting photos have given me plenty of ideas and subject matter for my WC sketches and paintings.
