Again steady away doing most of my painting at the Sedbergh Art Society's Wednesday art group and generally finishing off the sketches later in the week. Starting this year nearly all my paintings and sketches are now done in sketch books of varying sizes from A5 up to A3, at the moment I'm up to 11 such books.
Over the August Bank Holiday the Sedbergh Art Society held it's August 2017 Exhibition and I managed to show a few paintings and sold four. In the last month I've taken to practicing my drawing techniques by copying some of Arthur Rackham's wonderful fantasy sketches of fairies, goblins and weird and wonderful trees etc. I have also finally retired for the third time so hopefully more time for drawing, painting and fishing.
