Dec 2020 to Dec 2021

For most of 2021 we have managed to keep our SAS Wednesday Art Group running at the Peoples Hall in Sedbergh, initially with a limited attendance of six people but later expanding to our normal attendance of eight to ten members. At the moment the Covid Omicron variant is of great concern but as yet the government says social distancing is just advisory. Only time will tell?
During 2020 both the Kendal and Sedbergh Art Societies had to cancel their summer exhibitions and workshops etc., with the exception of our SAS Wednesday Art Group, however, I have continued to get out and take photos, sketch and paint, albeit hard at times to be creative and enthusiastic.
I’m still concentrating on a limited colour pallet of local Dales landscapes with the intention creating a small collection of paintings for the SAS late summer exhibition and a small exhibition at Farfield Mill in Jan 2022
